About Us

Peter Salinger worked for the Internal Revenue Service for 33 years which gives him a unique understanding of how the tax system works. First as a Revenue Officer, then moving into a management position supervising Revenue Officers. Peter also trained new Revenue Officers and then moved into a management position specializing in “Offer in Compromise”. Later Peter served as a Branch Chief, supervising 5 first line managers and over 80 front line employees. Peter finished his career as an Appeals Settlement Officer, reviewing Notices of Intent to Levy, Notices of Federal Tax Liens, rejected offers in compromise, Trust Fund Recovery Penalty appeals, as well as Collection Appeal Requests. Peter also has extensive experience in resolving International collection issues at the Appeal’s level. Throughout his career, Peter also provided training courses to CPAs and attorneys on the collection process, the appeals process, and procedural issues.

Peter has been married for 34 years and has 3 daughters. He is an avid sports fan with his favorite teams being the Tampa Bay Rays and Tampa Bay Lightning. He serves his local church as the Missions and Outreach Coordinator where his wife Debbie is the senior pastor.
